indeed but i believe that will be changing. there are
substantial extranet sites that are and have been running
on servlets for 2+ years:

javashop.sun.com (commerce engine for s/w products)
        developer.java.sun.com (developer connection)
        sun.com/MySun (my sun)

and a sizable portion of the internal sites which can't be
viewed from the open internet.

i and a noble few have been trying for quite sometime to get
the "developer's perspective inside scoop" of these sucess
stories out for quite some time but due to priorities and
"less then technical" reasons i don't feel we've done the
best job of showing just how sun is using java to truly run
it's enterprise class and extranet-aware core business systems.
i believe this trend will change as well.

hope this helps,

- james
