I agree with Chris. I had a similar problem, and couldn't resolve it. I
didn't post a message to the list, because knew that it's off topic. On my
luck, somebody else asked about it to the list, so now I resoved my problem.
If the author the queation got personal answers, I couldn't resolve my
problem. So why if we have an off-topic question in the non moderated list,
every one have to see an answer.
