Um, there already *is* such a regular posting to this list.  Every
week James Duncan Davidson (automatically, I'm sure) makes a post
entitled "Servlet FAQ & Resource Information", which lists a bunch of
FAQs/resources (as the name suggests :-), some Sun, some third-party,
that people can use to find answers to their questions.  If you have
additions to suggest for that list, or some way to make it more
prominent/noticable, I'm sure he'd be open to them.

The real trick is getting people to use those resources first.
