Would it make sense to have a FAQ that's specific to the list (I know that there are other servlet FAQ on the net). We could then automatically email it to the list periodically and hopefully increase the signal to noise ratio.
I'd be happy to host the FAQ, since we have the infrastructure for this kind of task.
