How was your musical evolution from 1st Rec to the last one?
I've come to appreciate every style, type and genre except two.
Country Western and Opera.
Did you have any period you're now ashamed of during this evolution?
Mmmmmmm nope. Variety is growth. I am only ashamed of one thing and that was
when I gave myself a haircut at the age of 5.

Sting circa 1985
Last gig you've been to and when?
Fugazi-Here in San Diego last Thursday.
Best gig you've been to and when?
Smashing Pumpkins at the old Casbah 1990 (Gish). Max. Capacity 75 people.
Worst gig you've been to and when?
Cake - Fashion Nugget Tour. One word: Deadpan. Their guitarist look JUST like
David Spade!
Most exhausting gig you've been to and when?
Belly/X - Street Scene Downtown San Diego 1993
There were three shirtless Marines moshing and trying their best to convince
Tanya and the female bassist to marry them.
Most crowded gig you've been to and when?
Primus 1993 Pork Soda. Bing Crosby Hall, Del Mar Fairgrounds. I've never seen
so many skaters in one place at one time without riot police salivating nearby.
Less crowded gig you've been to and when?
Some local band with a cello at the Casbah. They had the whole Cowboy Junkies
thing going on. It was me and about four other people not counting the
bartender and doorman.
Most crazy stuff you did or/and that happened to you during a gig and
when?
Had a lit cigarette thrown into my sweatjacket hood at a Metallica show. I
proceeded to spin around vigorously waving my arms trying to get the damn
thing out. It was like the Saturday Night Fever scene in the movie Airplane
when he's got the knife in his back and everyone in the club emulates his new
dance.
