-If we are talking only about the dock, those variables are set when the client quit, so it is normal they are written only then. What is not normal, is that they are set to the wrong value. Again, I can not reproduce the issue. With reference to the config not being written on close; investigation shows that if I open kde client and change some configuration settings, the config file is saved correctly. When I quit the client the config file is saved again incorrectly!
