Hello, Can you try this, package: https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/attachments/download/11537/sflphone-client-kde_1.1.0-rc20120607~ppa1~SYSTEM_amd64.deb (designed to work with our nightly PPAs)
If this work, then the patch will be made available in Ubuntu stable packages next Friday. The bug is in Akonadi, but cascade down into SFLPhone. This patch will shield SFLPhone-KDE from being affected. if it still doesn't work, then can you also give us more information in this issue: https://projects.savoirfairelinux.com/issues/47276 Regards, Emmanuel ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Doe" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, May 9, 2014 10:38:15 AM Subject: [SFLphone] SFLPhone KDE Hello All, I just installed SFLPhone KDE latest version 1.3.0 from the ubuntu repositories, running Kubuntu 14.04. The Gnome version works just fine, but I do not like the gnome version because there is no easy way to handle contacts and also because the system tray icon does not persist in KDE upon closing the window. So that is why I tried the KDE version, problem is that it freezes upon start. The window or account setup helper appears, but then I cannot push any buttons inside the window, I can shove the window around on the desktop though. After a while the application crashes... I guess a lot of people must have this problem since I have nothing else then a normal Kubuntu 14.04 install... Any help is appreciated. Bye, John. _______________________________________________ SFLphone mailing list [email protected] http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/mailman/listinfo/sflphone _______________________________________________ SFLphone mailing list [email protected] http://lists.savoirfairelinux.net/mailman/listinfo/sflphone
