I really like this idea, one single floppy still, no cd's to burn, no mucking about 
with switching disks....

Plug the boot disk into a box with a floppy drive and a harddrive, a NIC and another 
NIC or Modem, auto detect the cards, have one of them offer a webinterface to setup 
from. You could upload the files off your Windows box, be it a tarball or other file 
format, and it would only be limited by the size of harddrive.
