My primary response has been sent to the SharpOS Board mailing list, as this
seems like something we might want to vote on, to make it "feel okay" for
everyone.
The conversation is welcome to continue here by non-board members (and it
definitely should), but in the end, since it is a decision, has to be made
by our decision-making body.
Jonathan: what do you have the time and the will to code for this? can you
make it easy to maintain in case you get distracted and stop working on it?
I'm very hesitant about a custom-done solution, but if you can make a good
case for yourself, we can definitely consider it.
