Glad to hear you got it working. Were your cam and rocker very worn? One of my GLHS's was clattering a lot. I switched over to a roller cam/followers setup. Nice and quiet after that. When my Sister lost here first rocker, she was quoted something like $800 for a cam and a couple rockers. I brought her car over here. Then for $20.00, I found a perfect cam (hers was really worn) and all the rockers. Spent about 1.5 hours and put all that in. My brother calls me the next day and asked. "What did you do to her car? It never ran that good when I owned it"

The slider cam/followers that the older TD's came with are prone to wear and get loose. If they get revved too fast, theycan jump off. I've seen this twice in two different Omnis my sister had, my Dad's minivan, a car I bought from a friend and once on my Shelby Charger. The roller rockers (followers) are less prone to get thrown, but I haveseen it happen. Just an idea.
