If SolBook was OK, then is was possible to convert the format back to an editable troff version without loss, but this is obviously not the case. BTW: did yu ever try to enhance one of the man pages originated by Sun? It is a nightmare! P.S. We did decide already some time ago that man pages for OSS that is not owned by Sun stays in troff format.
