Mark,

What are your objectives and preferences for your irons? What kind of look
do you like? How far do you want to hit a 7-iron and a PW? What are your
directional tendencies? Cost parameters?

If you like the look and feel of blades, the semi-cavity back Chicago 944C
is hard to beat. Hits solid and long with the right graphite shafts...like
Apache PM-30s.

If you like cavity backs with low offset, Hireko's Acer XDS2 Professional is
a quality-made, solid hitting head that looks much more expensive than it
is. PW is slightly delofted at 46.

If you like cavity backs and are a fader who is helped by offset and needs
distance in the short irons, Hireko's Catapult STS is another quality, low
cost head with a low cg and is considerably delofted for the 7 through the
PW (44).

I'm playing the Catapult STS with steel shafts from 8-PW and the Chicago
944s from 4 through 7-iron with Apache graphites. The combo works well for
me, since I have a slightly outside-in swing and tend to launch my short
irons higher than normal.

Others that seem to play well for my customers: Dynacraft PC-3 has three
different lies available. Golfworks CER 551 plays OK. Check out golf club
review for some others. http://www.golfclubreview.com/componen2.htm
