I've got a freshman college player who wants me to reshaft a 975D to a 47" playing length. He has a smooth, swingers swing and hit's it a mile, though I do not have his swingspeed (he's away at college and will be sending me the head). I'm thinking of using the Pure Energy or Lite Revolution, but I'm a bit worried about whether they will play stiff enough. I could tip trim around an inch and, of course, the long bore through will make it play quite a bit stiffer.
Anyone have experience with these shafts in a long bore through head? Can anyone compare the Pure Energy (which I am familiar with) to the Lite Revolution (which I have not used)? Anyone know what the raw 975D heads typically weigh? I'm concerned about the high swingweight as well. Any advice or similar experience out there? Dan Neubecker [EMAIL PROTECTED]
