Dan, Just my experience with SK shafts. Used quite a lot of SK's shafts and they are one of the best and consistent.Between the pure energy and revolution lite go after the Rev-lite if you are working on 975d. For one they are longer and allows you to get to the length. Not all 975ds are at 207 grams head weight. All you need to do it to find out head weight when he sends that to you. Pure energy is a lighter weighted shaft and if this blok generates a lot of CH speed the rev-lite should be a better choice. I have touring pros using them.

Ed,
Thanks for the comments. The Pure Energy and Lite Revolution shafts are 48"
raw, plenty of length to tip trim about an inch and still get a 47" playing
length, even in a bore through. He's not looking to spend too much money on
this project and these shafts are in his price range. I'm afraid the Penley
50" shafts are a bit expensive, though the 47" standard length on the Tour
Light is in the range, and would result in close to 47".
