Ed, Thanks for the comments. The Pure Energy and Lite Revolution shafts are 48" raw, plenty of length to tip trim about an inch and still get a 47" playing length, even in a bore through. He's not looking to spend too much money on this project and these shafts are in his price range. I'm afraid the Penley 50" shafts are a bit expensive, though the 47" standard length on the Tour Light is in the range, and would result in close to 47".
