I guess that means I don't want to upgrade from my current version of the Acrobat Reader; I have 4.0, and have no problem saving or printing the document in question. Apparently they have either crippled (which I doubt) or added something like copyright protection to 5.0. In fact, the Adobe web site explicitly says that the free Acrobat Reader will print PDF files, so they certainly did not intend to cripple printing.
My understanding of the difference between Acrobat Reader and full Acrobat is that the full product allows you to CREATE PDF files, not just view them. (I think it may let you "take apart" a PDF file into, say, its text as .DOC or .TXT, but I'm certainly not sure of that.) It seems to be intended for professional documenting organizations, since the price is $250 and up. Probably cheaper to subscribe to Golfsmith's OEM Guide annually until you retire from clubmaking. :-( So either something is not working on your machine[s], or the 5.0 Acrobat Reader respects some sort of "unprintable" flag that the creator of the PDF file can put on it -- probably a feature more recent than Acrobat Reader 4.0. Just my guess, anyway.
