Cub, I agree with you on the GS tape. As far as I'm
concerned that is the only thing worth wild that they do sell.
My problems with the other tape was it just wouldn't stick to the shaft
w/out really cleaning the area I was going to use with acetone, & I
don't like using a lot of acetone on graphite.

cheap one from GW and Dynacraft and didn't like them. It was a pain to
remove the backing. This was about five years ago. Since then I only
use the tape from GS.

Comment: I don't use precut unless it is free. I just prefer
the roll because I can determine the length. Less waste and less
expensive, even for premium tape.

Some brands are also more difficult
to remove. I never bothered to figure out why. That's just been my
experience.
