I think that any discussion about the effectiveness of these methods should be based 
of an accuracy analisys of the equipment/procedures involved. We all agree that car 
wheel dynamic balancing is far superior than static; but the equipment used is 
designed to achieve a certain degree of accuracy.

I've never seen a ball spinner. Anybody have access to a known accuracy equipment to 
make a comparison?
