Right, right, correto mundo, mea culpa. I typed the wrong info. Rule 27.1 clearly says that another ball must be played from where the original ball was played, with a one-stroke penalty added. There are other options but indeed, that's what Rule 27.1 says. I think its Rule 20.5 that further clarifies it.
