I found what i think is one answer but it took me 15 mins on the phone to Golfsmith  as their catalogue descrition is not very clear it took refferal to several guys in their  tech dept to confirm stock number TSS2 page 116 of their catalog. Then came the really tricky bit I only wanted a couple( 1 for a spare ) they dont weigh
anything and cost is 1.95 each but the shipping cost was $16  They could be put in an envelope and sent Canada post for 50 cent max but the wonderful world of
computerised shipping could nt cope with such complications  Luckily I had a bright sales Guy who fooled the computer by  entering  the $16  min charge and then putting no charge to shipping !!

Arnie thanks
I  removed(drilled out) the broken shaft from the TM last night and LO and behold the hosel is 350 at the bottom and larger 1/2" down from the top so  I can try and get  the special ferrule (where from ?) or " McGiver" it by using a standard 350 ferrule that I have and shimming  the top 1/2" of the hosel . what could i use for a really good shim that I  could have lying around my shop or house?

Do  I need  a special ferule for  A TM reshaft?

The ferrule inside diameter should match the outside diameter of the shaft AND the outside diameter of the ferrule should be larger (to allow for turning down) or match the outside diameter of the top of the hosel.. In addition some hosels have a larger inside diameter at the top of the hosel requiring an inset ferrule. Once the head has been removed you will have your answer. Within a specific manufacturer's line there is rarely any standardization.
