I fully agree with what you have said.
The hidden point of what I posted is that when a new product hits the market tinkerers who want to duplicate the product will have the nerve to request exact information about the product so that they won't have to spend the money to get that product. This type of person fails to understand all the design features of a product and will persist to ask questions seeking free guidance throughout their "expermintation" process. Why not just buy the product? Tinker if you must but do it yourself.
If I see an interesting concept and think I have another way of accomplishing the same goal, I would not think of asking others to provide the exact information. Many "inventions" are modifications and/or improvements of others. My advice to "duplicators" is do your own research and development.
