You know what? This game is so much of an individual thing that it is no wonder that we all continue to find that one trick, gimmick, tip, or lesson that will erase eighteen stroke off the score card. At age 63 and only playing golf for six years I am still amazed at the uncertainty of the out come of any ball once it is hit by a club.

I have an old TaylorMade face balanced putter (Cb.2) that I modified back in
1998 along the same lines. Mine is now 32" long, fat symmetrical grip and 6
oz. of lead powder down the shaft. It continued to be face balanced after
the modifications ( didn't expect it to change) and I've been putting well
with it for several years now. That being said, I would change to something
else in a heartbeat if I felt that it would do a better job, and I'm
intrigued by the Heavy Putter. If I see one I'll certainly make an effort
to try one for a round or two. I've tried them all, and still have Old
Faithful in the bag.

Where is it okay to be teed off, tote a six-iron, shoot birdies, and if you're under par it's a great day?
