Let's go back in time, shall we?
I recently acquired a set of new Apache PM-30 iron shafts (R-flex)
for $4 per shaft. The deal was just too good to pass up! I plan to
put them into a new set of Wishon 770 heads later this winter.
I have a Club Scout 3 which I will use during fabrication, but at the
moment it and almost all of my other clubmaking tools are stored away
behind bags of
salt, shovels, ice chippers and the snow blower.
I seem to remember someone on the Forum who was adamant that Apache
shafts played about 1 flex stiffer than their CPM readings. Does
anyone remember this
discussion and the concensus of opinion on the argument? If so, I
might build them a bit softer than I normally would.
Regards,
Ron
