I definitely don't want to belittle the work you and everyone else is doing
on the new shr --- I think it's exciting and very impressive that so much
progress is being made. Things have also improved tremendously since the
first 'new' shr image.

However, objectively speaking, my experience with the new shr-u is still
generally inferior to what I found with the 'old' shr-u. I mean, there are
some areas of improvement, but overall I've found reliability to be lower.
I've had several occasions where the phone is hung solid and I need to
remove the battery to reboot, and at least one occasion last weekend where I
thought it was working, until I found out that no one was receiving my text
messages and I couldn't make outgoing calls... I had fewer problems like
that with the 'old' shr...

but as I said, I think it's great that so much progress is being made. I'm
still running the new shr-u build, and will try to upgrade to the shr-t
build as soon as I get a chance. Given how fast things seem to be moving
on the new SHR, I *hope* that these general unreliability issues will
disappear soon.

Thanks for all the work!!!

Warren
