Yep, it's a pity that this is still not working reliably, I
agree. Although WiFi works on those hotspots I use, and *I* don't have
the need for PIM synchronization, I can see why others would need it.

Our blog had 2 posts since November, all related to software updates. If
that is too much for you, I can't really help it :-).

We could file a trac bug "release milestone 1" which gets closed when
it's released.  You can 'cc yourself to that ticket if you are
interested in just that announcement. I actually just created such a
ticket:

I don't see that happening for the first milestone though. But others
might have other priorities and plans. This is volunteer driven open source...
