That seems strange to me.  Surely they must want to have a stable
platform in the near future?  I'd say that we need the basic phone
platform to be stable, in order to enable experimentation with
interesting applications on top of that.

Ah, that is good.  I am also interested in helping here, and will write
more about that in reply to Tim's email.

So, surely, just stop taking so many new moving parts?  (E.g. why do we
have to move from Illume to Illume 2?)
