The image looks pretty good to me. I really appreciate how responsive
it is. I've successfully tested sending and receiving SMSs, playing
sgt-puzzles, Pidgin MSN and IRC, and Vagalume.

Unfortunately I do see frequent system freezes - reliably within half an
hour of intensive usage. This is when running from the SD, and using
the Glamo driver, and I guess is the same as or similar to what is
already covered at https://docs.openmoko.org/trac/ticket/2364 and
http://trac.shr-project.org/trac/ticket/1143.

For now, to hopefully work around this, I've switched to fbdev. I think
this does make the phone feel slightly less responsive, but it is not a
massive difference; and the phone is certainly still much more
responsive than my previous SHR-T (with 2.6.29 I believe).

Contrary to my expectations, and what I've written in the past, illume2
is actually fine - although obviously it will be even nicer when the
shr_elm_softkey bug is properly fixed. I like having just single clicks
for popping the keyboard up and down, and for switching between keyboard
layouts; and the home button is convenient too.

Many thanks to you and the team for your work on this!
