Excellent, progress.... > please do not send me any more email without a proposed solution. I'll note that this email was NOT to you, Randy, it was to the [email protected] mailing list. You are NOT the WG, as hard as that may be to hear. Quite frankly, my problem is that you in your tours to the FCC and DHS and NOGs the world around have done such a bang up job making folks believe RPKI-enabled BGPSEC path validation is lightweight and solves all the problems that I as an operator should care about with regards to routing security -- when I consider this a gapping hole. I have not pre-envisaged a solution. As an operator I want the people designing the solution to recognize this is a problem that needs to be solved. If I hadn't seen folks suggest they would expedite this work through the Internet standards and convince the USG to put these Standards Track documents in procurement materials to "foster" adoption, I'd go away and not care. -danny _______________________________________________ sidr mailing list [email protected] https://www.ietf.org/mailman/listinfo/sidr
