I second the lower and more consistent ping times on DSL.  I have ADSL
from jump.net on copper from SWBell.  I may not see peak speeds as high as
RoadRunner can deliver, but the service is more stable.  Depending on
routes across the Internet to a remote server I see download rates ranging
from 20 kbytes/second to 150 kbytes/second, and IMHO 150 kbytes/second
isn't slow.  :)

That said, ADSL isn't for everyone.  I may prefer it, but it also fits my
needs pretty well.  RoadRunner does that better for other people.

And, I hadn't heard that RoadRunner had started offering static IPs with
the business service.  If they have, it is about time!  They've been
promising that since the "early bird" days.
