Thanks Bhaskar, this was my guess as well. From what I see here vs the folks I've interacted with in Berlin when I lived there, culture definitely plays a huge role. There's a lot of silent suffering here given the stigma around mental health in general, but more so for people who are perceived as "leaders", "successful", etc. I find that they are suffocating not being able to give themselves the time to even acknowledge it.
Most of these folks self select into this career and know that it is stressful, but just how stressful is visible to them only when they are in it - the stress then acts as a trigger for previously held insecurities and mental health issues (which for us Indians is generally at a higher baseline).
