all photographers(well, the ones I have talked to!) are apparently divided into Nikon and Canon groups.... and the Nikon lenses and Canon lenses groups!
just go with what YOU like. I have a friend who has been dithering between the two for the past 2 months, the more opinions he gets, the more he dithers!

I think the D70s is a fine camera. I wish I could afford one.
