[silk] some advice...remote management

Does anyone know of a good remote management / remote control software....something that
works on both windows and linux servers ?

Essentially, the parties concerned want to install / configure a bunch of software on windows / linux boxes
remotely....

I tried teaching them to do stuff though SSH,  but unfortunately some of them dont have an IT background,
or are just incompetent when faced with a command line....

i looked at something called RealVNC, it works, but it costs $$$ and is absolute pance over low bandwidth....
