My vote is for Meenam at Harrisons on Valluvar Kottam High Road. Eden
isn't bad either.

I realize this is kind of off-topic but I had occasion to visit a very
interesting vegetarian restaurant in Bangalore called South Indies.
Their lunch thali is an excellent option but sadly, the a la carte
dinner isn't.

AFAIK it was started by the executive chef from Jamavar at the Leela
Palace in Bangalore.

The other executive chef from Jamavar has his own place called Umerkot
in Koramangalore which is most certainly worth the drive but it isn't
vegetarian.
