- JT Edson's early works (a guilty pleasure - his prose is lousy and his politics worse, but I still go back to them over lunch/dinner every now and again)
Oh yes. Oh YES.
- The early Executioner books
And Phoenix Force / Able Team as well. Oh yeah - remember the "Man from O.R.G.Y" series? I ran into an astonishingly good retelling of the 1968 Chicago Democratic Convention in one of those, for all that the topic was a race between the reps of different toilet manufacturers to supply a girl of a specific type to a sheik's harem, the prize being the toilet contract for his sheikdom .. My tastes dont run to stephenson or gaiman, strangely enough. Nor to several of your other favorites.
