I'm looking for a good hotel in Mumbai for 7 nights -- someplace in an interesting neighbourhood with good food; 24h room service preferred, good broadband, and a decent bed. I'll be travelling to Pune once or twice, so a location that's convenient to that trip is important too. Anyone got a favourite?
Well, the five star ++ are $350++ (and the Taj Palace is good, as is the JW Marriott, the Intercontinental on Marine Drive..). Among the four stars - there's one called the Mirador (at $250++) about 15 minutes from the airport. Or Shalimar (about the same rate) in the Worli / Breach Candy area. Tripadvisor is a strong recommendation for any other hotels. srs
