And sometimes, the included and the excluded are pretty happy with things as they are, too. They might look at the train and know that there is a world within that they can never belong to...but it might not impact or bother them. The words "invitation only" and "exclusive" do bother me sometimes, but on thinking about it, exclusion per se is an essential part of life; none of us can belong in all the circles/groups we aspire to, or include everyone in our groups.... it is the feeling of superiority the included have, over those being excluded, that bothers me, I think...!
