Hah! I used to say I'd eat anything that didn't walk, run, fly, crawl or
swim. I've since then altered my definition slightly.

After extended conversations with my older relatives, once we got past the dubious claims of the "spiritual and moral superiority" of vegetarian fare, and the endless debates on whether molluscs feel pain the same way we do, the definition that seemed to make most sense is - "South Indian brahmins try to eat only cells that contain cell walls, chlorophyll and a large central vacuole, with the exception of dairy products"
