A local jewelry supply has 99.9% pure fine silver wire in 18 GA. Is this pure enough? And is any correction to the various "recipes" needed for diameter?
It only costs about a buck a foot, so I'm sure it's not the same as the 99.99% pure stuff sold for 10 times that for electrode use. Does anybody know of a source for the high purity electrode wire in the Southeastern Michigan area? Else, I'll order from one of the sources that have been mentioned before or are referred to in the various web sites...
