Well, I don't have a PH meter, but I added magnets to my extremely low PH well water, to the pipes that is, about 10 years ago. I can firmly attest: the PH does not change! I've used test strips numerous times. The only benefit that I'm aware of is that my copper pipes are no longer "eaten" away by the acid water. They used to be, pre magnets, and I know of at least one neighbor with the same setup that has had to tear out walls to replace disintegrating pipes. I have no explanantion for this! Sharon
