No you misinterpreted what I was trying to say. I would see these reports of an experiment done on plants or animals, and the experimenter knew what was being done, and had preconceived ideas about what to expect, but the peer review journals would publish the information anyway, even though I felt that since the experimenter's thoughts were not being shielded against, thus the experiments were in many cases worthless.
I was always annoyed becaue in Cleve Backster's shrimp experiments, the experimenter was shielded against, but they would not publish his findings, but would publish experiments that I considered sloppy because they did not shield. In some cases they would even consider experiments double blind, even though thoughts were not being shielded against thus bringing into question the conclusions.
