Well my crossover point for dangerous/not particularly dangerous was
actually 30v. I've been bit by a 45v battery in radio communication
devices.
Your focus on current being the dastardy doer can be shifted to
voltage simply by realizing that you can't have current without
voltage. Voltage is the "pusher", current is the "pushee".
Can't have current without voltage. Simple as that! The converse is
not true.
Want to die from a 9v battery, you gotta swallow it!
As you say, it was just a warning, you'd be enlightened soon enough!
