Well then, it is likely you have the herpes (chicken pox) virus lying dormant then, which could flare up if your system has been traumatised (like an accident) it is worth considering anyway. I know what it is like because it used to make me cry too. Sometimes every movement whether I was lying or sitting or walking; was torture, and the stabbing pain and soreness in the actual skin was something else! I was on six Ibuprofen a day, and had tried every painkiller the doc had. They also put me on Amitriptylene as well, which did work. Good luck with all remedies. Dee
