*not* need silver per se, that it cannot be imbalanced, like all the other
minerals can, which is why it is ok to take it in large amounts.  Dee

We once discussed what else silver did, relative to nerve impulses.
 
Silver is one of the minerals the body needs to build with, quite apart from
killing germs.
I seem to recall listers pointing out in effect that the nerves "need metal"
to transmit impulses, which silver helps accomplish.
