They are catering to your hopes.
You don't have to stay.
They may try to "convince" you that you should, but for them to pick your
pockets, you have to take your hands out of them.
You CAN refuse treatment.
The biggest hurdle is your own relatives declaring you incompetent to make
a decision.

money from you as possible until you die... they have no qualms about
doing so even when they know the "treatment" they are giving you is
harmful and may kill you. They just give you more until you either die or
become a patient for life.
