I have this problem. It is Herpes "Whitlow". For me, every 6 monthsor so, I get a breakout on one or two fingers, same ones, same spot every time. They hurt a little, but itch more than anything else. Not too big of a deal but it is annoying. I've never bothered to treat it really.
