I think I would still have used the EIS Steve (I don't have SC) but I
would have used a dropper syringe, and just dribbled it into the pups
mouth every ten minutes or so. Anyway, its a wonderful story and I'm
so glad the pup is doing well. dee

Just an FYI. My wife called me at work several days ago and said a
friend had a small 4 month old terrier that had Parvo. A sibling
from the same litter had just died of Parvo and this one had all the
symptoms. She described the puppy as unable to stand, wouldn't eat
or drink and had constant vomiting and diarrhea. I told my wife
where she could find some silver citrate and GSE. I chose silver
citrate over EIS because the puppy wouldn't drink or eat and I felt
that it would be easiest to try putting a drop or two of a
concentrated SC under the tongue than to get it to drink EIS.
My wife made her own modifications to my suggestions and mixed
together 12 oz of Pedialyte, 5 drops of GSE and enough SC to have
about 60 ppm of silver in the mixture. They put half a dropper full
of the mixture in the mouth of the puppy every hour and my wife said
the puppy started getting better almost immediately. After 4 hours
it was able to stand and drink water. And the next morning it was
playing almost as if nothing had happened. It has been two days now
and the puppy is still ok They will continue to give the puppy some
of the mixture twice daily for the next 3 to 4 days to be sure.
