I am not familiar with Diarsanyl but it looks to be mostly bentonite clay and probably works similar to Kaopectate. Pedialyte is more like Gatorade but with more electrolytes and less sugar. It is used to help replenish electrolytes when someone has diarrhea or is vomiting a lot.- Steve N
