Yes, very true and thanks for bringing that out.  But I wasn't going to
get into a Brouhaha over the "Evils of refined sugar" debate - or
cornstarch, or high fructose corn syrup, or GMO's or the evil food
industry, or . . . . . . when the point was to save a pup's life.

Anyhow, sugar equates to energy, which a sick animal or person may need
desparately.
