Be careful with boric acid for eyes. They come in different strengths. My grandma had an eye surgery for cataracts and the nurse used a stronger boric acid than what doc ordered and she got blind. Ask your eye doctor what strength should be used for eyes. Melly

It used to be the MD's remedy of choice in the 50's. It may also be helpful for other things. I thought boric acid is much more potent than borax- so less would be needed.
