I would try DMSO for pain relief and healing.
I am currently using this brand and it works very well:

I also use Topricin. If the dmso itches, I rub topricin over it and the itch goes away. This also aids the healing process. If you don't like using dmso, you could just try Topricin by itself. It is great for reducing inflammation, as is dmso. They have one variety that is specific for foot pain: http://www.topricin.com/product/topricin-foot/16 I have not tried that yet, but regular Topricin is excellent.
If you have bone spurs, x-ray should reveal this.
You may have plantar fascitis. Very painful, especially in the morning when you just get out of bed. I had that years ago and it took two cortisone shots to stop it. It has not returned.

I am asking because my heels Burn and hurt and feel awful. I can hardly stand on them and yet there is no lumps or bumps. My feet also cramp constantly and everything from the knees down is swollen. My doctor says it's not a circulation issue but the only things that help are epsom salts and eeping feet up. even the bone that attaches from my heel to the rest of my anle hurts. That's why I was wondering what they are and what to do i've tried everything prescription and nothing has owrked. ----- Original Message -----
